Sleepwalking to use the someone else’s bathroom.

When I was a kid I would randomly have sleepwalking episodes. Episodes including walking around the house, talking in my sleep or diving over a couch and army crawling because I felt threatened. I have had random episodes in my life before but for seven years I was episode free. I thought maybe I grew out it. Well I was wrong.

I live in an apartment on the first floor, and my brother lives on the second floor. One night I had another episode. I walked up two flights of stairs (in my boxers with my pillow and my IPOD) and knocked on his door. I then asked “Can I use your bathroom my is flooding”. He said “yea”. He then asked “why did you bring your pillow and IPOD.” I said “I was kind of wondering that when I came up here”. I then walked back to my apartment locked my door then went to sleep.

I had no recollection of this episode until my brother told me what happened. When he told me I started remembering bits and pieces. I’ve noticed throughout the years my episodes have become progressively more complex and intense. I just thought I would share my experience to let everyone know that they are not alone.
