I am a 21 year old male who occasionally experiences sleepwalking. My first experience was as a child maybe 10 years old. I woke myself up during this particular episode only to find myself out of bed with a screwdriver in my hand attempting to stick it in an electrical outlet, it scared me a little. since then I have sleepwalked multiple times but never attempted anything life threatening such as that. my most recent episode was just last night, I had a friend stay the night at my house. we slept on opposite ends of the house and i wake up this morning to find him bewildered and i ask whats the matter, he proceeded to tell me that in my sleep I came into his room and walked straight up to him in his bed and smacked his face with my hand. he asked me what i did that for and I replied “sorry I thought you were the cat”, it was truly a bizarre experience.
