Sleepwalker

I’ve been sleepwalking ever since I was about 6 or 7. Now I am 20 and I still do it. Just 2 nights ago, I was sleepwalking and when I woke up in the morning my finger was sprained and swollen and my ankle hurt badly. I have no idea what happened. I’m thinking I might have just fallen out of bed and landed badly, but instead of waking up from the pain, I just crawled back in bed and went to sleep. I’m scared that I might walk outside during the night, because I live alone and there is no one there to make sure I stay inside. My dad also sleepwalks and I think I inherited this disorder from him. I’m thinking about having a sleep study done. This is the first time I’ve injured myself from sleepwalking, and I’m sure it won’t be the last if nothing is done about it.

I’ve been sleep walking since I had kids. I get up in the night and either end up waking up in my youngest sons bed or with him in mine. [more..]
