Do you believe in souls?

I stayed at home through out the whole day yesterday, and I spent the day just watching TV. At 11pm, I took a bath and upon, watched TV again. I slept at around 12:30 am. At approximately 2am, I was having a nightmare. It wasn’t just one, but multiple nightmares. I remember I was being run after by a furious dog, so I kept on running and running. Then suddenly, I was just on my bed lying.

I was totally immobilized but I could see the surroundings inside my room. I was pushing myself hard to be awakened but I could hardly open my eyes. Then I saw my little sister and her dog came in. I screamed very loud and I tried to stand up, hoping that she would hear me and wake me up, but she does not hear me for unknown reason.

Despite of it, I kept on shouting and shouting until my sister left my room. To my panic, I tried so hard to stand up, but my body was not coordinating. I was aware of what is happening around me, I’m seeing the TV, the entire room but I was just totally helpless. In my effort to stand up, finally, I was able to sit, but then, I immediately closed my eyes and reclined again to my astonishment! I just saw my body lying on my bed with eyes closed.

I was shocked to see my body lying on bed while I was sitting. How could that happen?

I asked myself, did my soul just separate from my body?

With my fullest force, I exerted all my effort to open my eyes to be awakened. The I made it, my eyes opened. I saw the TV right in front of my face and I could already move my head. Without any further delay, I stood up and ran to turn the light on. Straightaway, I went to my sister’s room and reclined beside her. After a minute, I heard her murmuring, so I immediately woke her up. I was able to wake her up and and let her sleep again.

I kept the lights on and prayed until I finally went over to sleep.

In the next day, I asked my little sister if she went to my room last night with her dog. Surprisingly, she answered NO and told me that she could actually remember that she had a nightmare.

Then, there was silence and I did not ask any further question.

If you experienced the same story, please let me know, and I would be glad to hear your insights.
