if you take beta blockers they can disturb your sleep in a major way they keep you awake or make you go straight to REM so very little dark restful sleep comes when takeing beta blockers …beta blockers are meds given for high blood heart disrythmea.

head achs and anxeity stage fright, I have to take a small amount of valum to get any sleep whatsoever. I have taken beta blockers for 15 years and small amounts of valum xanax if I did not take the valum I would have to stop the beta blocker …it can keep you awake for days and cause disturbed sleep for a prolonged peariod I had disturbed sleep for allmost 40 days untill I changed to a calicum channel blocker calan …but now Im back on Timolol a beta blocker and have to take Valum…2 1/2 mgs to 5 mgs a night to sleep…valum works for me I have took it for years along with the beta blocker…if I took beta blockers alone I dont think I would sleep at all
