Can’t wake up in the morning

My brother has always been hard to get up in the morning. The past several years it has gotten worse. He is 22 and has been married and now divorced, due partially to some rough mornings in waking him up. He’s now at home with my Mom to wake him. Some people say he’s just lazy and won’t get up. But there is a definite problem. He’s been tested at a sleep lab for sleep apnea and all checked out fine. He works for my Dad and usually has to be at work any where from 3 to 5 a.m. Mom spends over an hour on trying to get him up. The majority of that hour is spent listening to him spout off nonsense. So you can tell that he isn’t awake. I’m thinking he’s possibly been depressed and maybe that’s made it worse. I don’t know, I’m just having a hard time finding any info on such a thing. It’s actually 5:30 a.m. and I can’t sleep after hearing her trying to wake him up!
