To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Acting out Dreams I find myself acting out dreams that involve my phobia…roaches! Anytime I dream there is a roach in the room I begin to act out the dream. Just last night I had a dream there was a roach on the ceiling. I freaked out and ran to the door trying to get out. The door was locked and I couldn’t get out. My boyfriend tried to get me and said you are dreaming. I pushed him hard up against the dresser and said “f**k you” because I thought he was trying to take me to the roach. He called me crazy and went back to bed. I begin having a panic attack because I can’t get the door open. I run to the bathroom and close the door and lock myself in the closet that is on our bathroom. I am breathing hard and shaking trying to figure what to do if the roach gets in when I slowly wake up and realize I am dreaming. I walking back in the room and my boyfriend is asleep. I look at the ceiling and recognize it is pitch black i couldn’t see a roach if it was real. I had just acted out my whole dream and in the process injured myself (hit my leg on the bed post and have a huge bruise) and my boyfriend (when I pushed him into the dresser) This is not the first time it has happened and they are getting worse and worse! I want help! I don’t want to hurt myself if my dream gets worse! Comments
