To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Phantom of the Night I sleep horribly. I am 53 and try every night to calm myself, to get comfortable, put on the CPAP and try to be peaceful. Instead, I jolt awake and feel like I am dead- like I am not breathing and can’t move. The pulse starts pounding and I have to scream or talk to assure myself that I am o.k. Once I have one of these episodes, I am actually afraid to fall deeply asleep so I stay half awake all night. My partner says that I scream, talk, bolt and terrify him - he now sleeps on the Lazy Boy. Comments
