To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Sleep all Day and all Night I was just diagnosed with Narcolepsy after participating in a sleep study. I am a current college student and I have trouble staying awake in afternoon classes, no matter how much sleep I get or how late I was up the night previous. I try to treat my symptoms with a bit of humor, as there is really not a better way to get around being embarrassed. I have fallen asleep on my laptop, books, hands, arms, and head slumping to the side. Sleeping in class is not awkward, and waking up to a page full of scribble because I continue taking notes even though I am asleep is frustrating. I think I have had this condition my entire life, and it has only been exaggerated by college scheduling, stress, and alcohol consumption. Ideally I would like to be able to sleep whenever I feel like it, but then I would not be productive by any means. Comments
