To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download what do I have? I can date having the overwhelming urge to sleep back to Junior in High School after I had a severe case of mononucleosis. Since then, as said above I have had those uncontrollable sleep episodes. I have always felt “lazy” and why can’t I get up after dinner and do the dishes, etc. I thought it was just being a mom and trying to work. The past 2-3 years it has been getting progressively worse until someone at work said they were concerned and I need to go to the doctor. I had barely made it to work that morning after a good nights sleep without pulling over to take 10 minutes to sleep. I have a 12 minute drive to work. I have been told that I skip stage 3 altogether never getting any restorative sleep. My doc says he does not know why, I don’t have sleep apnea and no other signs of narcolepsy just EDS! My doc who has a passion about sleep disorders said he was going to have to research to see if he could help me. I’m on ritalin which allows me to function somewhat. Anyone else out there with a similar story or suggestions? thanks Comments
