During one of my episodes I drove my vehicle got into two accidents and eventually 4 hours later I drove my vehicle off the road, strangers got into my car, my dogs were in my vehicle initially but I was told I let them run in a field. I asked a stranger if I could use their phone to call home, but I couldn’t dial the phone, they did and they called my husband who came to get me. My vehicle was robbed, there was a cop there when my husband got there, he got the dogs in the car. Through the week I got a citation for being in an accident; I had a memory of a woman cop telling me to stay in my vehicle - there was no damage to either vehicle and there was a cop when my husband got there. 3 cops and not one of them new thaat I was sleeping. I find that I can do almost anything except write or use a telephone or a remote control when I’m alseep. I have been diagnosed with narcolepsy because when I’m awake, I will fall asleeep talking to you, must people get offened because when I awake I talk about what everI was dreaming at the time. I have been treated with chlosipone (?) for a couple of months now. It certainly has made me aware of it - either when I’m alseep or awake I can usually wake up and yell, oops I’m sorry. I don’t drive unless I can write a note first, then I make a phone call just in case. Don’t know what to do now. Comments
