To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Finally, a diagnosis! I have spent the last 15 years trying to get help with my insomnia. I have had it with doctors telling me it’s a physicological problem. They all (and there have been many) want to send me to a therapist to treat my “depression.” So I finally did. After two extensive tests, I was told what I already knew. I am NOT depressed and now my doctor knows that also. I went for a sleep study. It showed what I again already knew. I never reached more than the 2nd level of sleep (there is 4). Now keep in mind that they made me go to bed at 11:30 pm and woke me at 5:30am. To no surprise, I was not totally asleep when they came in. I take Rozarim and Trazadone, but still don’t get sleepy before 4am. The articles I have read on this condition suggest trying Melatonin and Vitamin B12 and getting at least 20-30 minnutes of sunshine each morning and wearing sunglasses at night. I am going to give it a try. Have any of you found anything that works, even a little bit? Comments
