To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Teenager in New Zealand I’m a 14 year old teenager from Taranaki, New Zealand. Tonight I finally had had it with my terrible sleeping patterns, so I looked through all the sleep disorders on Wikipedia. I came across DSPS, and it matches my symptoms completely. I go to sleep at 6-7 in the morning, and wake between 1-5 in the afternoon. It’s been like this my whole life. My mother is the only one who has understood me, even if only slightly. Because of this, I have been homeschooled all my life. I’ve tried so hard to get a ‘normal’ sleeping pattern, but it never works. I’ve tried natural remedys, and been perscribed pills. The natural remedys only relax my body, and the pills work for about a week and then stop. I don’t know how many other people in my family have it, but my older brother definitely has something similair. It’s just so good to finally know that there’s a real reason as to why I have such different sleeping patterns. Comments
