To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Desparately Seeking Sleep I have always had a problem falling asleep. At first I thought it was insomnia. After looking at info on the web about insomnia, I stumbled upon delayed sleep syndrome. Every night I get in the bed around 8:30 pm or 9:00 pm and lay there looking at the clock eventually falling asleep around 2:00. Then I wake up at 6:00 to get ready for work. I have to hit the snooze on the alarm several time before finally dragging myself out of such a wonderful sleep. It is so aggravating. As soon as my fiancee’s head hits the pillow, he is asleep winthin 5 minutes or less and I am just laying there trying my hardest to fall asleep. He often gets irratated with my grumpiness in the morning because he is a morning person and I am not. My doctor prescribed sleeping pills that seemed to work very well, but I did not ask for another perscription because I feared getting addicted to them. This is a constant battle with me trying to go to sleep and trying to get up in the mornings is the hardest thing I have to do all day. I feel for others who have this as well as I do. But I am glad I am not the only one. Everyone else in my family as well as my friends can fall asleep easily and they do not understand why I cannot. Neither can I. Comments
