I pretty much just found out about DSPS this morning, (ironically while reading an encyclopedia because I couldn’t sleep). Since before i started high school I couldn’t sleep at night and had the most horrible time waking up in the morning, affected my grades a lot, too.

After reading some of these stoires i think my boyfriend may have this disorder but i’m not sure. We have been together for 9 years nad i have always gotten upset by his sleep habits and lack of motivation in the morning. He never can go bed to bed at a decent hour, he says he is not tired but then in the morning it is nearly impossible to wake him up.

I’ll be 70 next week, and have had this all my life–I can still remember being spanked, even before kindergarten age, because I made too much noise at night when I couldn’t go to sleep.
