b12 is helping my sleep disorder

hi. i’ve had a delayed sleep phase issue for years, coupled with depression i don’t know which caused the other, but it probably doens’t matter.

a few weeks ago, i was in the vitamin shoppe and picked up a liquid version of B12 vitamins (with folic acid). almost overnight, i’ve noticed a change. here i am writing this post at 7am on a saturday. :) it’s like a dream. i’m sure it doesn’t fix everything, but with 2000 mg of B12 (and 800 of folic acid), i’ve been getting tired at night, sleeping fairly soundly, and getting up much much earlier. i’m hoping this is a turning point in my life and that i’ll be able to get beyond this disorder for once and for all.

i recommend others to try liquid B12 vitamins also for this and other sleep disorders.

I woke up this morning and was so frustrated with myself for never being able to wake up like normal people do, that I decided to look up melatonin. I read an article recently that said it was the sleep hormone our brains secrete, and I thought, “Well, it seems like my brain doesn’t know when to secrete melatonin, and when to stop!” [more..]
