I woke up this morning and was so frustrated with myself for never being able to wake up like normal people do, that I decided to look up melatonin. I read an article recently that said it was the sleep hormone our brains secrete, and I thought, “Well, it seems like my brain doesn’t know when to secrete melatonin, and when to stop!”

I worked almost my entire working life on afternoon and midnight shifts serving a necessary and useful function. Because I preferred the off shifts I saved someone with less seniority from being forced onto them, we were both happy.

hi. i’ve had a delayed sleep phase issue for years, coupled with depression i don’t know which caused the other, but it probably doens’t matter.
a few weeks ago, i was in the vitamin shoppe and picked up a liquid version of B12 vitamins (with folic acid).
